IMR Unveils New Website

The Interessengemeinschaft Modellraketen (IMR), a multi-national model rocketry organization for the German-speaking areas (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), relaunched its website. 

The site now runs on the same sophisticated Content-Management-Framework like EMR and is managed through Raketenwelt.de, a special model rocketry hoster. The advantages are better handling of website content and easier administration of the site. The membership database and handling is now integrated within the new system. Member services such as sending out mailings and granting access to the internal member area are now handled seamless within one system.

The IMR site offers news for both the public and, within the closed membership area, for club members. Both areas contains information about the association and model rocketry in general. Members can easily order services such as insurance within the closed member area while public visitors are able to order rockets from an small online shop for example.

The site is basically in German language with some information in English provided for the international audience.
