Estes Presented New European Distributor Logic RC

The UK-based company Logic RC is the new European importeur for Estes model rockets and engines. During the 2012 International Trade Fair in Nuremberg, Germany, European Model Rocketry had the opportunity to talk to both Estes and Logic and to verify that Estes will continue to be available to European customers.

Logic RC just started delivering products of the model rocketry world-leader after Ripmax discontinued distribution for Estes in Europe. Since Logic was founded by a former Ripmax manager, the existing knowhow in serving the European market will be preserved.

Logic RC will ship Estes products to UK and mainland European dealers directly from the UK warehouse by a specialised freight forwarder to ensure fast delivery. Logic also has plans to promote model rocketry through educational activities.

At the Nuremberg fair, Estes products were largely shown at the Hobbico booth, Estes new mother company. According to Rick Oster, Estes National Sales Manager, the new Pro-Series-II midpower kits and engines will be available soon within the US. At the booth, Estes also presented non-rocketry products such as RC gliders, helicopters and wooden jet gliders. Rockets were shown in both boxed and non-boxed packaging.
