New "Book of Space Travels" published

A very personal new book from Stuart Lodge: The long-time British rocketeer, competition flyer, editor of Interspace magazine and book author just released his new title The interspace ... Book of Space Travels. Different to his former works, the new title is not a technical book but a well-illustrated and fascinating journey to countless model rocketry events all over the world.

Stuart started his rocketeer career way back in the 1980s. In 1987, he visited the 7th FAI World Space Modelling Championships in Belgrade and, in 1988, the famous Modellraketen Festival in Bavaria, Germany. Since then, he was infected with the "space travelling" virus. So also his book starts with the 1987 World Champs and the Modellraketen Festival, followed by other famous rockety events such as the Swiss RAK or the Ljubljana Cup in Slovenia - as well as many other World and European sport rocketry competitions.

Stuarts new book is an amazing insight view into the European and worldwide model rocketry community, specially the sport rocketry/space modelling scene. On 84 pages, many color pictures are included as well as his personal curriculum. A must-have for every serious rocketeer bringing back memories of more than 4 decades of model rocketry history in Europe!
